OBITUARY Sue Gillions Woodhull of Lake Ridge, Formerly of Lottsburg, died Wednesday, April 18, 2001. Mrs. Woodhull was a graduate of Callao High School and Strayer College in Washington, D.C. She began her working career in 1942 with the War Department. Following World War II, she had a long career of government service in the U. S. Departments of Defense and Agriculture. After retiring from government service, she pursued a ten-year career in real estate. A longtime Arlington resident, she was a member of Clarendon United Methodist Church. She is survived by a sister, Margaret Ann Gillions Day of Lake Ridge: a Niece, Barbara Day, and a nephew and his wife, Charles D. and Felicia Day, All of Arlington. Graveside rites were held Saturday April 21, at Melrose United Methodist Church Cemetery with Rev. Willie B. Guill Jr. officiating. A memorial service was held Tuesday, April 24, at Westminister in Lake Ridge. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. Charlie W. Anshutz - Charley married ___ Woodwell, The 'Wheeling Register published the names Woodhull instead of Woodwell. Joseph Woodwell ran a hardware store on Wood street in Pittsburgh, His brother William was also living here in Pittsburgh. His wife was the sister of William Woodwell Esq.
